A night of industrial heritage

Kiel, the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein, is hosting its first night of industrial heritage on 9 February 2012. The event, organised by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will highlight to the people of the region the key importance of industry to the economy. Water is the key element in this, with the Baltic Sea extending into the heart of Kiel, a city famous for its long shipbuilding and naval tradition.

Kiel's location on the Baltic coast also means it is surrounded by many spa resorts, where you can relax to your heart's content.
