300 years since the birth of a towering personality

Next year sees the tercentenary of the birth of King Frederick II of Prussia, who was born on 24 January 1712. To mark the occasion, the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation, Berlin/Brandenburg (SPSG) will be offering visitors to the New Palace in Potsdam the chance to gain insights into the monarch's life, in an exhibition running from 28 April until 28 October 2012.
