In this issue we are highlighting German heritage on our new microsite and like to remind you of our many traditional folk festivals across the country. Germany is celebrating the anniversary of the famous Bauhaus art school that opened in Weimar in 1919. The architecture, art and design of the influential movement is still revered around the world to this day. The opening of the new Bauhaus Museum in Dessau on 9/8 will give your clients a chance to experience German history, architecture and culture first hand.

German Folk Festivals
With summer in full swing, Germany is gearing up for its numerous folk festivals. As a big part of German tradition and culture they are perfect to mingle with locals while enjoying music, delicious food, beer and wine. Upcoming festivals are Oktoberfest in Munich starting (9/21), Rhine in Flames in Koblenz (9/21) and the Canstatter Wasn in Stuttgart (9/27).
