Christine, whose heart really belongs to Raoul, the Viscount de Chagny, succumbs to the dark allure of the Phantom and follows him into his underground kingdom. It is here in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House that the struggle to win the heart of the beautiful Christine ignites between the two men.
