The focus here is on indulgence and good times. Head Chef Douce Steiner offers discerning diners modern interpretations of seasonally inspired French haute cuisine. Her apprenticeship began under her father, Hans-Paul Steiner, who earned two Michelin stars for the Hirschen in his day. She then went on to hone her skills in France, her mother's homeland. After spells in different dining establishments, she returned to the family business. Her mother Claude still advises diners on the perfect wine choice to accompany their meals, with a preference for regional varieties from the Markgräflerland area.
