Restaurant Rosin, Dorsten
Frank Rosin, a chef, football fan and musician, opened up a restaurant in his home town of Dorsten on the outskirts of the Ruhr area back in 1991. And the food he serves there has had a reputation for being amongst the most creative in the country for some time now.
There's no denying that Frank Rosin has high standards when it comes to the techniques used. He demands perfection and innovation. And yet his cooking has a definite local flair, which he says he can trace back to his grandmother, who inspired his early love of cooking. He is always on the lookout for new compositions and creations too. Against a backdrop of refined tableware and elegant interior design, Frank Rosin and his team manage to create a cosy atmosphere that makes diners feel right at home. A true native of the Ruhr area, he even invites guests to watch major football matches in his restaurant.
