One of the most famous fragrances in the world: Eau de Cologne. In the oldest perfume factory in the world, visitors can learn about 300 years of perfume history. The Fragrance Museum (Duftmuseum) is located in the main building of the family-run Farina company in the historic center of Cologne, in which visitors can immerse themselves in the history of Eau de Cologne, for example, during a guided costume tour with the “parfumeur”. Another Eau de Cologne production was built about 100 years later in the Glockengasse in Cologne. Visitors can also explore the world of fragrance in the 4711-Haus, for example, at a fragrance seminar in which an individual Eau de Cologne is created under expert guidance.
