Gateway to Europe
With its central location, Düsseldorf Airport offers passengers optimal connections not only within Europe but also to nearby regions. Düsseldorf city centre is only a 10-minute taxi or train ride from the airport, and two railway stations link the airport to surrounding areas. An excellently equipped car rental centre is located directly adjacent to the terminal and can be reached in a short 5-minute walk. The Ruhr area is just around the corner, as well as vibrant German cities such as Cologne (57 km), Bonn (85 km) and Aachen (98 km), while European capitals such as Amsterdam (222 km) and Brussels (205 km) are within easy reach.
Wide range of services
At Düsseldorf Airport, passengers and visitors will find almost everything they desire in over 60 stores and 40 bars and restaurants. In addition to a diverse gastronomy and shopping offer, the airport also provides a tax refund service as well as selected lounges and, of course, a VIP service. The modern DUSconference plus is ideally located in the terminal and offers a host of conference and meeting rooms, boardrooms, web corner and plug-in workstations as well as three foyers and workspaces that can be rented to suit individual requirements. The Sheraton Düsseldorf Airport and Maritim are two major hotels in the immediate vicinity of the terminal.
