Nature and Active

Days full of fun for the entire family!

Whilst numerous attractions will get rollercoaster fans’ pulses racing. Those still hungry for staggering heights after a trip on Voletarium, Europe's largest Flying Theatre, can pedal away in Volo da Vinci and immerse themselves in the Italian Dolce Vita from above. In the Greek themed area, bold heroes can cross the Mediterranean Sea with the Flight of Icarus hot-air balloon ride. On the Swiss Jungfrau Glacier Flight, young and old alike can climb the Matterhorn and enjoy the awe-inspiring alpine landscape. In the themed area Ireland – Children’s World, lovers of Nordic countries can discover the elevated plain and the green vegetation of the Emerald Isle with the Spinning Dragons.

In the Russian themed area, the high-speed Euro-Mir rollercoaster shoots lucky cosmonauts into orbit like a rocket. After the thrill-ride, the stars are within reach in the original Russian Mir Space Station. In Iceland, daring Vikings dash through the air on the catapult ride blue fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM or race through Icelandic mythology at 100km/h in the wagons of the wooden rollercoaster WODAN – Timburcoaster. Unprecedented adventures are also open to passengers on the rollercoaster Alpenexpress Coastiality. With the aid of virtual reality glasses, visitors can jump into a fantastic virtual world while at the same time feeling the full thrust of the rollercoaster with a series of airstreams, centrifugal forces and curves.

Opening hours
EUROPA-PARK opens during summer from 4th April to 3rd November 2019 from 9 am to 6 pm (extended opening hours during peak season) and during winter from 23rd November 2019 to 06th January 2020 and 11th + 12th January 2020 from 11 am to 7 pm (closed on 24th and 25th December 2019).

Barrier-free Travel

Admission prices
People in wheelchairs and the visually impaired have free admission to Europa-Park. Accompanying persons have reduced admission(€ 44,50 during Summer Season 2019 and € 39.50 during the Winter Season 2019/2020) on presentation of a handicapped ID labelled “B” (accompanying person required).

Attractions and shows
With the exception of the EP-Express, it is necessary to get out of the wheelchair for the ride attractions. For safety reasons (regulations of the German Technical Inspection Authority, TÜV) handicapped persons are not allowed to use some of the attractions. All of the shows have designated areas for wheelchair users.

Parking

Designated spaces for handicapped parking can be found at the front of the visitors’ car park.

Sanitary facilities

There are special toilets for handicapped persons at the main entrance, in German Alley, and in the Italian, French, Greek, Russian, Scandinavian, Spanish and Austrian themed areas.

Wheelchair loan service

A limited number of wheelchairs are available for € 3,00 for the duration of your visit at the main entrance. An ID must be submitted as a deposit.
