"We cannot change the wind, but we can change the sails." (Aristotle) - Hesse has set out to become a sustainable destination. The sustainable orientation of tourism is increasingly becoming the focus of our day-to-day work. We are pursuing the goal of making Hesse the first federal state to be certified as a "sustainable travel destination". The Hessian regions have therefore committed themselves to the TourCert certification process and are working intensively on its implementation. However, certification is not the end, but the beginning of ongoing work and a commitment to a sustainable future for tourism in Hesse.
