"Dolce" Bath Nauheim

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - partially barrier-free for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. Detailed information can be found in the evaluation report at the end of the text.

• Two parking spaces are available for people with disabilities (parking space size 380 cm x 460 cm; distance to the elevator approx. 36 m). The path has a gradient of 6 % on a distance of 20 m.
• The path is easy to walk and drive on due to its surface condition.
• Aids offered: wheelchair

Hotel

• The reception counter with checkout area is at the highest or lowest point 114 cm or 100 cm respectively. Another possibility of communication is available while sitting.
• Doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide (door in stairwell: 87 cm).
• All areas relevant to the guest are at ground level or accessible by elevator. The elevator cab measures 108 cm x 138 cm.
• The breakfast room has wheelchair accessible tables.
• The conference rooms are located in the basement.

Room no. 252 (double bedroom)

• The manoeuvring space in front of immobile furnishings is 120 cm x 140 cm.
• The manoeuvring space next to the bed is 150 cm x 160 cm.
• The bed is compatible for a bed lift. There is no nursing bed.
• The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are: left 150 cm x 55 cm, right 13 cm x 55 cm, in front of the toilet or washbasin 150 cm x 150 cm.
• There are handles on the toilet, the one on the left can be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible at a depth of 30 cm or more.
• The shower area at ground level is 150 cm x 150 cm. Shower chair and handle are available.

Room no. 342 (double bedroom)

• The manoeuvring space in front of immobile furnishings is 86 cm x 150 cm.
• The manoeuvring space next to the bed is 93 cm x 170 cm on the left and 150 cm x 170 cm on the right.
• The bed is not wheelchair accessible. There is no nursing bed.
• The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are: left 150 cm x 58 cm, right 16 cm x 58 cm, in front of the toilet or washbasin 150 cm x 130 cm.
• There are handles on the toilet, the one on the left can be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible at a depth of less than 30 cm.
• The shower area at ground level is 150 cm x 150 cm. Shower chair and handle are available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are: left 25 cm x 57 cm, right 73 cm x 57 cm, in front of the toilet or washbasin 117 cm x 160 cm.
• There are handles on the toilet, which cannot be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible at a depth of less than 30 cm.
• The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.

Spa house

• The spa house can be reached via five steps with a step height of 19 cm or a ramp with an inclination of 5 % on a distance of 11 m. Alternatively, the spa house can be reached via the hotel. Access is stepless via the ground floor.
• Doors and passageways are at least 88 cm wide (toilet door: 83 cm).
• All areas relevant to the guest are accessible at ground level.
• In the restaurant  "Platanenhof" there are wheelchair accessible tables.
• In the theatre hall there are designated spaces for wheelchair users.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are: left 36 cm x 49 cm, right 96 cm x 49 cm, in front of the toilet or washbasin 150 cm x 64 cm.
• There are handles on the toilet which cannot be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a depth of less than 30 cm.
