LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Berlin: the ultimate indoor theme park in the German capital

At the world's first LEGOLAND Discovery Centre you can look forward to a Lego paradise bursting with creativity, games and interactive fun. This vibrant world of multi-coloured bricks is an ideal year-round attraction, particularly for families with younger children aged three upwards.

Playing with the famous plastic bricks is turned into a fantastic family experience at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, part of the Sony Center on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The focus is firmly on fun, games and LEGO adventures in around 15 different sections: LEGO enthusiasts can see Berlin's iconic sights in miniature at the MINILAND, and then it's time for some action, as eight children at a time get to steer their own pirate ships. When they hit volcanoes and islands with the ship's cannons it triggers fountains of water and special effects. The secret of how the famous bricks are made is revealed in the LEGO factory. LEGO works of art can also be seen at Dragon's Castle. But what would a LEGO attraction be if you didn't have the chance to get creative yourself? In the Build & Test Centre, creative minds get to make their very own racing cars and then put them through their paces on a race track, while the houses built by mini architects are subjected to earthquakes to test their stability. For girls that might not be so keen on cars or earthquakes there is a special building zone decked out in pink. Children who are still too small to build or who just want to let off steam can explore the climbing maze, master the mini climbing wall or dive into the ball pit. Younger children will love the Duplo Village and Princesses' Palace with their giant-sized bricks.

Young designers can visit the Model Builders Workshop on their own or with a parent. Here they are shown how to put together all kinds of figures. The finished models can then be bought for a few euros. Another highlight is the 4D cinema, a multi-sensory experience packed with surprises and special effects. The LEGO Discovery Centre features a packed programme of special events and promotions, including in the school holidays, at Halloween and at Christmas. There's always something new to discover! In the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Shop you'll find all the latest LEGO products as well as fantastic souvenirs.
