Süllberg – Seven Seas

Seven Seas in the Süllberg Hotel – the height of sophistication in Hamburg

At the heart of the five-star Süllberg hotel complex, the Seven Seas gourmet restaurant in Hamburg's Blankenese district offers diners an impressive view of the River Elbe through its stylish curving windows and from its terrace. The Seaside Lounge on the Süllberg's highest terrace is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Hamburg.

In this elegant setting, Karlheinz Hauser serves classic French gourmet cuisine featuring some surprising inspirations from the seven seas. Since 2002, Eckart Witzigmann's former sous-chef has been progressively developing the Wilhelmian-style complex of buildings on Süllberg hill in Blankenese into one of Hamburg's culinary highlights. A little "wow" factor adds Hauser's special signature to each dish.

Michelin Guide*:
"This stylish restaurant has an almost intimate feel with its elegant furniture, premium materials and extensive menu. Amazing culinary delights are accompanied by an equally fantastic view of the River Elbe. The modern classic cuisine combines carefully selected produce in harmonious creations using different texture, temperature and sweetness/acidity effects. This same stylish class also characterises the hotel."
