TRAVELLING TO OBERAMMERGAU.
Where exactly is Oberammergau? This small town is tucked away amid the mountains of southern Bavaria, about an hour from Munich. The @daytrippers.ch took the train to Munich – how very German! But there’s also a large international airport too.
HITTING NEW HEIGHTS.
The Laberbergbahn cable car is the quickest way to get to the top. Want to know why taking the cable car is the way to go? Because it’s a fast and convenient way to get to the top, and you get amazing views on the way. And what’s more, it’s just so much fun! ;)
FOOD FOR THE SOUL.
Sit back and enjoy!
Going downhill back to the valley is a lot easier. Once you’re at the bottom, you are rewarded with this fabulous view of Ettal Abbey after your scenic walk.
The @daytrippers.ch had the opportunity to watch the remarkable Passion Play. Every ten years, the townsfolk turn into a company of actors to put on this unforgettable play.
