Gute Reise! We make it happen

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is an international transportation hub and gateway to the world: from here, 99 airlines serve 311 destinations in 97 countries around the world. More than 64 million air travelers used Germany’s largest airport in 2017, with transferring passengers accounting for about 60% of that figure. No other European airport has a larger share of transit traffic. Frankfurt is also an airport of superlatives in other ways as well, for example the fact that it serves Europe’s largest catchment area populated by 38 million people.

Frankfurt Airport’s Motto: “Gute Reise! We make it happen”

Frankfurt Airport’s motto, “Gute Reise! We make it happen”, leaves no doubt that the focus is now firmly on customers. It makes it clear that all activities are now geared to meeting individual passengers’ widely ranging needs and preferences. Accordingly, Fraport is constantly engaged in developing new services and amenities to satisfy all wishes. The aim is to steadily upgrade the quality and customer-friendliness of passengers’ experiences at Frankfurt Airport.

Airport Website

The Frankfurt Airport website provides passengers with up-to-the-minute information relevant to their trips and their stay at the airport. It can be viewed in German, English or Mandarin.

The Frankfurt Airport App

This free app, which is available in German, English and Mandarin Chinese, contains important information on getting to the airport, parking, waiting times, services, shops and restaurants, and many other things. In addition to helping passengers and visitors navigate the terminal buildings, it translates signs into six languages: Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. The app also displays waiting times, delays and any gate changes. The user’s digital customer card for the Frankfurt Airport Rewards program is integrated, and the app can even be used to shop online. Versions are available for Android and iOS.
