All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in front of the Rose Clinic (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The building is accessible without steps.
  • All rooms that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin is 110 cm x 140 cm. 
  • All doors/passages usable and elevated for the guest are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The Tourist Information counter is 73 cm high at the lowest point.
  • The theater bar is 95 cm high at the lowest point.
  • Seating is available in the lobby, meeting rooms and the spa theater. 
  • There are three designated spaces for wheelchair users in the spa theater.
  • There are wheelchair-accessible tables in the foyer (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair-accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities (first floor)

  • The toilet door can be opened with a Euro-key. The key is available at the information desk.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 125 cm x 130 cm,
    left of the toilet 106 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public men's and women's restrooms for people with disabilities (basement)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin and in front of the WC 130 cm x 120 cm;
    Ladies' WC: to the left of the WC 20 cm x 55 cm; to the right of the WC 80 cm x 55 cm;
    Men's WC: to the left of the WC 80 cm x 55 cm; to the right of the WC 20 cm x 55 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The grab rail on the approachable side is flipped up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • There is no audio induction loop system at the counter and meeting rooms
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. Alternatively stairs are available.
