Holiday Park Seehof (Anne Wilken)

With more than 18 hectares of "pure nature", Holiday Park Seehof offers the highest level of your well-being and is 100 percent climate-neutral. The campsite is located directly on Lake Schwerin, not far from the state capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A variety of pitches are offered - from mobile homes to permanent camping, everything is available. You will also find a multitude of leisure activities for the whole family on the site.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

  • There are no marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in front of the vacation park.
  • The path from the parking lot to the entrance area with reception/registration is 10 m long and easy to walk and drive on.
  • The reception building is accessible without steps (door threshold of 2.5 cm height). 
  • The reception counter is 92cm high at the lowest point. There is another equivalent possibility of communication in a sitting position. 
  • Almost all rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible without steps/at ground level, in some cases with door thresholds 10cm - 12cm high. Exception: the sanitary building with washing machine/dryer/hand wash is accessible via two steps. 
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 80 cm wide. 

Camper pitches

  • There are no designated RV sites for persons with disabilities. 
  • The RV sites vary in size. The pitches are lawns and not everywhere easy to walk and drive on.
  • The outdoor paths in the vacation park are mostly easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum  longitudinal gradient of 6%. 
  • There are no seating areas available.

Camping kitchen

  • The camping kitchen is accessible via a 10 cm high door sill.
  • The kitchen countertop, sink and stove are not wheelchair compatible.  

Restaurant "zum Oberförster"

  • Wheelchair compatible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm) are available. 

Sanitary room for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:  
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the WC and in front of the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left and right of the WC at least 90 cm x 64 cm. 
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • Both grab rails are flip-up. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • The shower is accessible. A threshold of 0 cm is available. 
  • The stepless shower is 180 cm x 150 cm.
  • Grab rails are available in the shower.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).
  • There is no alarm trigger available.

  •  There is no inductive  loop system at the reception. 
  • In the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that disturb the field of vision or eye contact.

  •  The entrance area is visually contrasting to the surroundings. 
  • Assistance dogs (service dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms. 
  • The paths in the holiday park usually have a visually high-contrast and/or tactile path boundary.
  •  All raised areas that can be used by guests are well, i.e. bright and glare-free, illuminated. 
  • Signage designed in legible font. 
  • In the restaurant, the font of the menu is straightforward and visually rich in contrast. 
  • Information is not available in Braille or  or prismatic font.
