  • There is a parking space available for people with disabilities (parking space size: 420 cm x 600 cm; distance to entrance approx. 15 m). The path between the car park and the entrance has a max. longitudinal inclination of 12 %. at 4 m. For loading and unloading as well as for boarding and alighting, it is also possible to drive directly in front of the hotel entrance.
  • All evaluated areas relevant to the guest can be reached stepless or via a ramp (with the exception of seminar buildings with a threshold of 3.5 cm).
  • The reception desk is steplessly accessible with a threshold of 2 cm. At the lowest point, the reception counter is 76 cm high. There is an alternative way of communication while sitting.
  • The hotel building is accessible via a ramp with 7% inclination. The smallest running width is 90 cm wide. The smaller manoeuvring space in front of/behind the ramp is 200 cm x 107 cm (alternatively: one step with a height of 13 cm)
  • Doors and passages are at least 89 cm wide.
  • In the hotel lounge (breakfast room and lounge) there are three wheelchair accessible tables.
  • The seminar house "Remise" with three seminar rooms is approx. 100 m away from the hotel entrance. The path to the entrance to the seminar house "Remise" is not easy to walk and drive on. The seminar building is accessible via a door threshold of 3.5 cm. 

Room No. 1 "Ägypten Dahab"

  • The manoeuvring space next to the bed is 44 cm x 205 cm on the left and 80 cm x 205 cm on the right. The beds can be moved sideways to provide larger manoeuvring spaces next to the bed.
  • A nursing bed cannot be provided.
  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are 40 cm x 70 cm on the left, 16 cm x 70 cm on the right and at least 150 cm 150 cm in front of the toilet.
  • There is a handle that can be folded up on the left side. 
  • The shower area at ground level is 120 cm x 120 cm.
  • A shower chair is available, handles are not attached.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible, the mirror can be seen while standing, but not while sitting. 

Public toilet in the seminar house "Remise"

  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are 138 cm x 70 cm on the left, 65 cm x 70 cm on the right and 150 cm x 68 cm in front of the toilet.
  • Both sides have handles, the one on the left can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible; the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • In the event of an acoustic alarm, no visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal appears.

Hotel lounge (breakfast room and lounge)

  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
  • There are tables where there are no lamps standing or hanging that disturb the visual field or eye contact.
  • There are tables with low background noises.
  • An electroacoustic sound system can be switched off or adjusted.

Room no. 1 "Ägypten Dahab"

  • A television with teletext is available.
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • Free WIFI access is available.
  • The knocking at the room door and the ringing of the telephone are not indicated by a flashing signal.

  • Outdoor paths usually have high-contrast or tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
