Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in the underground car park (parking space size: 363 cm x 595 cm).
  • There are various in front of the hotel. The path from the bus stop to the hotel entrance is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The hotel is is steplessly accessible via the main entrance.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 217 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: the narrowest passageway in room 601 (82 cm).
  • The reception desk is 116 cm high at its lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the breakfast room and bistro (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • The maneuvering spaces in the conference areas are 150 cm x 150 cm.

Room 601 (double bedroom)

  • According to the operator, rooms 201, 301, 401, 501, 601 and 701 are more or less identical in construction.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 120 cm x 120 cm;
    left of the bed 100 cm x 200 cm;
    right of the bed right 50 cm x 200;
    The bed can be moved sideways to adjust the maneuvering space.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin 150 cm x 138 cm;
    left of the toilet 130 cm x 69 cm,
    right of the toilet 30 cm x 69 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
  • The shower is steplessly variable.

  • In the case of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm), there is a visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal in the garage, the restaurant and the rooms.
  • An outgoing emergency in the elevator is confirmed audibly, but not visibly.
  • There is no audio induction loop in the reception and conference area.
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.

  • Rooms and corridors are brightly lit and glare-free. Corridors are designed with high contrast almost everywhere.
  • There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path.
  • There are alternative doors to existing carousel or rotary doors.
  • Doors or door frames are usually contrasting with their surroundings.
  • An emergency call is confirmed audibly in the elevator. The stopping position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • The operating controls are predominately visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
  • Alternatively stairs are available. Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
  • There is no information in Braille.
