With the Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt you can experience fascinating landscapes, view castles and palaces and enjoy delicious food and the wines of the region. 

MS Asbach operates mainly on the romantic Middle Rhine. The ship has ground-level access, an elevator leading to all decks, and a handicapped restroom. 

MS Asbach operates daily in the heart of the Middle Rhine Valley between Boppard, St. Goar and Koblenz. Check our Service Center for detailed travel times per pier.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in Sankt Goarshausen along Heinrich-Heine-Straße (distance to the jetty 100 m).
  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities in Sankt Goar along Heerstraße/B9 (distance to the jetty 220 m).
  • Access to the ship is via a bridge in each case. The slope depends on the water level. Bridge 3 in Sankt Goarshausen is 125 cm wide and 16 m long. Bridge 4 in Sankt Goar is 135 cm wide and 18 m long.
  • The plank onto the ship has a passage width of 77 cm and a 3 cm high threshold.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible without steps via an elevator, with the exception of the small sundeck.
  • The elevator cabin is 110 cm x 140 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors on the ship available to the guests are at least 88 cm wide.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public WC for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the WC and the washbasin 126 cm x 180 cm;
    to the left of the WC 64 cm x 52 cm and to the right of the WC 75 cm x 52 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. The grab rails can be folded up.
  • The sink has limited acccess.
  • There is no alarm trigger.
