  • There are two buildings: "Spa and Sauna" and "Sports and Family Pool" with separate entrances and parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • There is a public transport stop not far from both buildings. Seats are available.
  • Aids offered: wheelchairs, walkers

Spa and Sauna

  • There are nine public parking spaces for people with disabilities at the "Spa and Sauna" (parking space size 390 cm x 410 cm; distance to entrance approx. 60 m). The path from the car park and the public transport bus stop to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on. There is a 3 % inclination on a distance of 30 m.
  • Access to the building is threshold-free and stepless.
  • All evaluated rooms available to the guest are at ground level or accessible via elevator (cabin size: 109 cm x 140 cm) or ramps (exceptions: e.g. stairs to the "Laist-Soledampfbad", "Salz-Stollensauna", "Erdsauna", "Tempelsauna", "Liegesprudelbecken", "Kaltbecken", whirlpool)
  • The sales counter with cash area is 122 cm high.
  • All doors and passages are at least 90 cm wide, with the exception of the "Predigtstuhlsauna" and the "Staufensauna" (73 cm each), the "Laistsoledampfbad" (80 cm), the "Unterbergsauna" (75 cm), the "Erdsauna" (69 cm) and the "Finnische Tempelaufgusssauna" (68 cm).
  • The entrance to all swimming pools (1st floor) is exclusively via flat steps with handrail.
  • "Solegrotte" and "Dampfbad" (ground floor): Between the entrance and the "Solegrotte" there is a ramp with an inclination of 5% over a length of 8 m. There is a handrail.
  • In the outdoor area, the "Erdsauna"and "Tempelsauna" are accessible via a mobile ramp.
  • "Thermenrestaurant" (1st floor): The narrowest passage is 104 cm, there are 20 wheelchair accessible tables. From the elevator or staircase to the theme restaurant there is a ramp with an inclination of 6 % on a length of 10 m. The smallest usable running width is 109 cm. There is no handrail.
  • Changing room/shower/public toilet I (1st floor): The manoeuvering space next to the toilet is left 29 cm x 70 cm, right 143 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet 163 cm x 130 cm. There are handles which can be folded up. The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while sitting and standing. The manoeuvering space in the shower at ground level is 200 cm x 150 cm.
  • Changing room/shower/public toilet II (1st floor): The manoeuvering space next to the toilet is left 110 cm x 71 cm, right 96 cm x 71 cm, in front of the toilet 180 cm x 138 cm. There are handles which can be folded up. The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while sitting and standing. The manoeuvering space in the shower at ground level is 200 cm x 150 cm. There is a shower chair.
  • Public toilet for people with disabilities (1st floor): The manoeuvering space next to the toilet is left 93 cm x 70 cm, right 142 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet 170 cm x 140 cm. There are handles which can be folded up. The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while sitting and standing. The manoeuvering space in the shower at ground level is 150 cm x 150 cm. There is a shower chair.
  • There is a bar/lounge in the entrance area. There are no wheelchair accessible tables.

Sports and Family Pool

  • There are four public parking spaces for people with disabilities at the "Sports and Family Pool" (parking space size 390 cm x 500 cm; distance to the entrance approx. 90 m).
  • The path from the car park and the public transport bus stop to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on. There is a 3 % inclination on a distance of 30 m.
  • Access to the building is threshold-free and stepless.
  • The sales counter with checkout area is 120 cm high. There is no other communication possibility while sitting.
  • All doors and passageways are at least 88 cm wide.
  • Access from the changing room or bistro to the swimming area is via an elevator (cab size: 109 cm x 140 cm) or via stairs.
  • In front of the family pool there is a ramp with an inclination of 6 % on a length of 7 m. The ramp is located in front of the family pool. There are no grab handles.
  • The family pool is accessible via flat steps with handrails.
  • The sports pool is accessible via a ladder with handrail.
  • Shower/public toilet: The manoeuvering space next to the toilet is left 23 cm x 70 cm, right 86 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet 184 cm x 50 cm. There are handles which can be folded up on the right side. The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while sitting and standing. The manoeuvering space in the shower at ground level is 130 cm x 130 cm. There is a shower chair.
  • Public toilet for people with disabilities (at the transition): Between the toilet and the swimming areas there is a ramp with an inclination of 6 % over a length of 8 m. There are no handrails. The toilet and swimming area is equipped with a shower chair. The manoeuvering space next to the toilet is left 82 cm x 70 cm, right 85 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet 143 cm x 200 cm. There are handles which can be folded up. The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while sitting and standing. There is an alarm cord at a height of 60 cm.
  • Bistro: Access to the bistro is via two ramps. They have a gradient of 6 % on a distance of 4 m and 8 m respectively. The narrowest passage width is 107 cm, there are 28 wheelchair accessible tables.

  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • In the elevator, an emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively there are staircases available.
  • In the thermal spa restaurant, bar and lounge, sauna bar and restaurant as well as in the bistro in the sports and family pool there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
  • Furthermore there are tables where there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the visual field or eye contact. There are also tables with low background noises (exception: bistro).

  • Outdoor paths usually have contrasting or tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
  • The main entrances of the respective buildings are visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change of the floor covering.
  • The house signage is partly designed in clearly legible, contrasting font.
  • There are rotating doors in the entrance areas.
  • Rooms and corridors are partly brightly lit.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.
  • There is no uninterrupted guidance system with floor indicators.
  • In elevators an emergency call is confirmed audibly.
  • Staircases are usually not visually or tactilely rich in contrast. Handrails are present.
  • The menu in the "Thermenrestaurant" is designed in plain and contrasting font. A menu in large print is available in the bistro.
