And you too are welcome to our Köstritzer Schwarzbierhaus "Zum Güldenen Rade" on Erfurt's historic Marktstraße 50, part of the famous Via Regia trade route.   • here is a public parking lot available. The parking lot is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path from the Fischmarkt streetcar stop to the entrance is 50 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal slope of 2% over a distance of 10 meters.
  • The building is accessible without steps via the main entrance on Marktstraße with a door threshold 4 cm high. A mobile ramp is available and can be created to overcome the small step if necessary.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps, except for the bar area. The bar area is accessible only by two steps (17 cm each).
  • All doors/passages that can be used and raised for the guest are at least 90 cm wide.
  • In the large and small restaurant as well as on the terrace there are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door at least 120 cm x 150 cm;
    in front of the toilet and in front of the washbasin 120 cm x 140 cm;
    left of the toilet 92 cm x 51 cm and right of the toilet 40 cm x 51 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger (cord) is available.

  • There is no alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • In the restaurants there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room) in the small restaurant.

  • Assistance dogs may not be brought to the establishment.
  • External paths tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
  • The entrance Marktstrasse is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • The evaluated areas that can be used by the guest are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room.
  • There are few glass doors without safety markings.
  • The two steps to the bar have visually contrasting edges.  
  • The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
  • There is no menu available in large print or braille.
