The Thalmühle is located in the Selketal nature reserve in the Harz Mountains.  The accommodation is located directly on the long-distance hiking trail Selketal-Stieg and offers  a relaxing place to stay. The family-run business has a total of 16 rooms, one of which is designed barrier-free for people with mobility impairments.  The three glamping tents, in which guests can sleep comfortably under the stars, makes this location special. The products are mainly from regional or sustainable production. In the house, there is a sauna on the 2nd floor for guest usage.

  • There are five parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level.
  • There are 16 parking spaces with electricity connections. Gray water disposal is not permitted due to the location in a nature reserve.
  • There are no slopes greater than 6%.
  • All doors/passages accessible to guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 84 cm high.
  • There is one accessible room available (Max vacation apartment).
  •  The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
