SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT

SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT (Luise Bachmann)

The SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT is one of the most renowned venues for modern and contemporary art in Europe. Its program includes large-scale exhibitions, interdisciplinary events, and discursive formats. The SCHIRN promotes new perspectives on art and cultural history as well as on current societal debates. Its aim is to provide a unique, sensory experience and actively engage visitors in the contemplation of art. With the energy-efficient refurbishment of the main building on the Römer, the SCHIRN temporarily moved to the Dondorf printing works in Bockenheim from 2025. The important ensemble of buildings with its striking industrial architecture opens up new possibilities.
