Tourist Information Rostock City Center (TZRW)

The Tourist Information of the Hanseatic City of Rostock is located at the "Universitätsplatz" in the heart of the city center. It is the first starting point for competent advice and all-round service for holiday planning in Rostock and Warnemünde. Services include the procurement of accommodation, city and adventure tours, travel guides and much more. Tickets for events, travel literature, souvenirs, maps, city maps and fishing permits are also available here.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 300 cm x 600 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the side entrance is 50 m long. It is not easy to walk and drive on.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via the side entrance and a wheelchair lift. The platform of the wheelchair lift is 140 cm x 140 cm.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The counter is at its lowest point 74 cm high.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities that is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are fold-down grab bars on both the left and right sides of the restroom. 
  • Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered on request. A reservation in advance is necessary.
