All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

- There are four marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 550 cm). The car park is easy to walk and drive on.
- The path from the car park to the entrance is 15 m long and easy to walk and drive on.
- The bus stop and ferry landing stage are 50 metres away. The path from the bus stop to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on.
- The building is steplessly accessible via the entrance with a door threshold of 1.5 cm in height.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible at ground level or via a lift.
- The lift cabin is 111 cm x 141 cm. The lift door is 90 cm wide.
- All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
- The checkout counter is 80 cm high at its lowest point. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
- The exhibits are mainly visible from a seated position. The information on the exhibits can mainly be read while seated.
- Interactive guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is necessary.
- Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.
- The entire route of the tour is steplessly accessible for wheelchair users.
Public toilet for people with disabilities in the café
- The manoeuvring spaces are:
in front of the sink 237 cm x 197 cm;
in front of the toilet 240 cm x 159 cm;
to the left of the toilet 90 cm x 72 cm;
to the right of the toilet 211 cm x 72 cm. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
- The grab rails can be flipped-up.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible.
- The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- There is a cord as an alarm trigger.
Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)
- The manoeuvring spaces must be:
in front of the toilet and sink at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
to the left of the toilet 120 cm x 72 cm and to the right of the toilet 78 cm x 72 cm. - There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
- The sink is wheelchair accessible.
- The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
- There is an alarm trigger (cord, button).
