In an exclusive location on the edge of the historic old town of Gunzenhausen and close to the Altmühlsee. Hospitable atmosphere, comfortable rooms and appealing seminar rooms invite you to feel good.

In order to arrange the stay for groups, school classes, families, wheelchair users & individual guests as precisely as possible, we are happy to provide our rooms and other equipment. For indivdual wishes just ask us. 

In the lake district and in the neighboring vacation regions, a dense network of charging and service stations for e-bikes has been set up for cycling enthusiasts. In addition, there are numerous new bike paths.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. Detailed information can be found in the test report at the end of the text.

  • There is a general car park. There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm). 
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is 200 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 10 m. 
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on and has a gradient of 8 %.
  • The building is steplessly accessible.  
  • The reception is 110 cm high. There is no alternative communication possibility while sitting.
  • The evaluated rooms on the ground floor that can be used by the guest are accessible at ground level, the areas on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd floor and in the basement are only accessible via stairs with handrails.
  • Doors and passageways are at least 82 cm wide.
  • There are no carousel or rotary doors.
  • There are no wheelchair accessible tables available in the dining room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm). 

Room 2 (multi-bedroom)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bedroom are at least 150 cm x 150 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 200 cm x 160 cm to the right of the bed, left the bed stands next to the wall.
  • The height of the bed is 49 cm.
  • A nursing bed is not available. 

Room 3 (multi-bedroom)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bedroom are at least 150 cm x 150 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 200 cm x 194 cm to the right of the bed, left the bed stands next to the wall.
  • The height of the bed is 49 cm.
  • A nursing bed is not available. 

Shared bathroom of room 2 and 3

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    at the door and in front of the washbasin at least 150 cm x150 cm;
    in front of the toilet 140 cm x 200 cm;
    right of the toilet 82 cm x 70 cm, the toilet cannot be accessed from the left.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be viewed while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds.
  • The manoeuvring space in the shower is 120 cm x 120 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There are grab rails available in the shower.
  • An alarm trigger is not available.
