City Gallery Wollhalle

Städtische Gallerie Wollhalle (Anne Wilken)

Built as a ducal horse stable, used as a wool trading center in the 19th century and as a theater workshop in the 20th century, the historic building that characterizes the cityscape was reopened in May 2000 as the Wollhalle Municipal Gallery.

  • There are two designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. 
  • The Franz-Parr-Platz bus stop is located 50 meters away. 
  • All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are either step-free or accessible via a stair lift.
  • The entrance door is 78 cm wide; it is a double door, so the second panel can also be opened.
  • All doors and passageways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: One passageway in the shop is only 67 cm wide.
  • The cash register counter is 98 cm high. 
  • The exhibits and information about the exhibits are mostly visible while seated. 
  • Seating is available.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities, which is accessible from one side (at least 90 cm). There are flip-up grab bars to the left and right of the toilet. 
  • No guided tours are offered for people with disabilities
