Wern's Mill - Country house

Wern's Mill - Country house (Mareike Suhn - Christian Geisler)

Hotel and restaurant

Landhaus Wern's Mühle - live, enjoy and work from and with nature

Our country house was built in the 19th century around the historic Öhlmühle mill and is located in the middle of the Ostertal valley. Working in harmony with nature and the seasonal conditions has always played a major role and has made our house well known in the Saarland.

The regional cuisine and the associated culinary creations are adapted to the course of the year. Everything we do is created with a love of good food, true to the Saarland way of “savoir vivre”.

Our restaurant has been awarded the title of “Genussgastwirt Saarland Gold”! Markus Keller “Genussgastwirt Saarland 2017/18” & Anna Keller “Genussgastwirt Saarland 2024/25”. The award was recognized in terms of sustainability for admission to “Green Chefs”.

With our sustainability concept, we were the first restaurant in Saarland to be accepted into the Slow Food Chef Alliance.

The good mill spirits in service and kitchen and the Keller family look forward to your visit
