"On the bright beach of the Saale, castles stand proud and bold ..."

. . . as this old folk song says, and that is exactly what awaits our guests in our beautiful, over 1050-year-old town in the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park.

The imposing Renaissance castle of the Princes of Anhalt-Bernburg, built high up on a sandstone rock, greets you from afar.

You can enjoy the most beautiful view from our passenger ship MS "Saalefee", which will take you along the floodplain forests to other Anhalt sights such as Plötzkau Castle.

Experience the wide range of cultural and leisure activities on offer in the former royal seat of Bernburg an der Saale!
