Alsterschwimmhalle (Bäderland)

The Alsterschwimmhalle in Hamburg offers a unique combination of swimming pool, wellness and fitness facilities. The indoor pool complex has a total of six pools, including a 50-metre pool, a 25-metre pool, a diving pool and a relaxation pool. If you're in the mood for wellness, there is an approx. 800 m² sauna area with 5 saunas. A special highlight is our fitness studio. At THE RAY fitness studio, you can train on modern equipment in a 1600 m² area with a view of the Alsterschwimmhalle.

  • There are five parking spaces available for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator.
  • There are no slopes with a gradient of more than 6%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • There is a sanitary room available for people with disabilities.
  • The toilet in this room is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The shower in the sanitary room for people with disabilities is accessible without steps. There are grab rails in the shower. A shower seat is available.
  • To access the sports pool, the teaching pool, the warm pool, and the course pool, there is a passenger lift, flat steps with a handrail, and a ladder with a handrail.
  • A sauna wheelchair is provided.
  • In the sauna, the manoeuvring space in front of the lower bench is usually at least 120 cm x 120 cm.
