Wasserwelt Langenhagen offers swimming fun on over 20,000 m². The 25-meter pool is suitable for sporty swimmers and those looking for relaxation will find what they are looking for in the sauna area with meditation sauna, whirlpool, etc. For the more adventurous, there is a 100-meter tire slide.  In the Relax-Bistro, bathers can stock up on drinks and snacks.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are 12 marked parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The Wasserwelt Langenhagen bus stop is 100 m away.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via a 10 m long ramp with a 3% incline.
  • The cash desk is 80 cm high at its lowest point.
  • Almost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible. Exceptions are the slide and the diving boards.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 88 cm wide.
  • There is a passenger lift to access the (swimming) pools and usually also flat steps with handrails.
  • The paths in the sauna garden are easy to walk and drive on.
  • There are wheelchair compatible tables in the bistro (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm).

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:

    at least 90 cm x 70 cm to the left and right of the WCs. (exception public WC in the foyer: 88 cm wide to the left of the WC)
  • Fold-up grab rails are provided to the left and right of the WCs.
  • The washbasins are wheelchair compatible and the mirrors can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • The threshold-free showers are 150 cm x 150 cm. Grab rails and a shower seat are provided in each case.
  • Alarm triggers are available.
