Youth Hostel Kretzschau (Maria Magdalena Fischer)

In a quiet location by the lake, the large hostel grounds offer guests a relaxing stay and invite them to play, have fun and relax in the greenery. Kretzschau Youth Hostel offers 13 bungalows equipped with shower and WC. Especially groups, school classes, families and motorcyclists will find suitable accommodation here.

  • There is one unmarked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the entrance reception is 100 m long.
  • The terrain is steplessly accessible.
  • Almost evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via ramps.
  • Exception: The reception-building is only accessible via three steps.
  • The ramp at Bungalow 3 has a maximum inclination of 11% and a total length of 3 m.
  • The ramp between the billiard room and the seminar room has a maximum inclination of 8 % and a total length of 1 m.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 111 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.

House 3: Bedroom 3/2 multi-bed room, ground floor)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in front of/behind the door are 100 cm x 200 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) and right of the bed 100 cm x 200 cm;
    on the left is the bed on the wall.
  • The bed is 44 cm high.
  • The bathroom is not designed for people with disabilities (very small manoeuvring spaces, no grab rails, etc.).
