Schwaneck Castle Youth Hostel

Youth Hostel Burg Schwaneck (Angelika Herrmann)

The educational centre Burg Schwaneck of the Kreisjugendring München-Land combines three institutions under one roof: Burg Schwaneck is one of the 12 youth education centres in Bavaria recognised by the Bavarian Youth Ring as well as a youth hostel in the German Youth Hostel Association. The education centre also includes the nature experience centre on the castle grounds, an environmental station recognised by the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment.  The castle with its historic rooms can be used in a variety of ways as a place for overnight stays and conferences. We offer a unique ambience for school trips, European tours, international youth meetings and holiday stays, also for families. Our seminar rooms offer a suitable setting for further training, specialist conferences and seminars related to youth work.
