Spa Park Bad Salzuflen

Spa Park Bad Salzuflen (Nadja Jacke)

The "Kurpark" of Bad Salzuflen is the centrepiece of the town’s park landscapes. The spacious park combines historic garden design with modern health and leisure attractions focusing on brine, Kneipp therapy and relaxation in nature.

The approximately 120-hectare "Kurpark" and landscape garden was inspired by English gardens and has been extensively redesigned in recent years. Visitors can enjoy historic tree-lined avenues, colourful flowerbeds, the brine beach, Kneipp island with a barefoot trail, activity areas and the Wandelhalle featuring interactive exhibitions about brine, salt and Kneipp therapy. Spa concerts, health activities and events take place regularly throughout the year. The park is ideal for relaxation, exercise and recreation.

The "Kurpark" is certified as accessible according to the German “Reisen für Alle” standards. Most pathways are step-free and wheelchair accessible. Dogs, bicycles and scooters are not permitted inside the park. Admission is free from November to March.

Tickets for the "Kurpark" and the "Gradierwerke" experience can be purchased at the entrances. Admission is free for holders of the SalzuflenCARD. Current opening hours, events and guided tour information are available on the official Staatsbad Salzuflen website.
