  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The consultation desk is 72 cm high.
  • There is no public toilet designed for people with disabilities in the tourist information itself. The existing WC is accessible via a maximum of one step and has a door width of at least 70 cm.

Public WC for people with disabilities at the camper van site

  • The path from the tourist information office to the toilet is 850 m long and easy to walk and drive on.
  • The toilet door can be opened with a Euro key.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the washbasin and WC 150 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left of the WC 80 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 110 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. Both grab rails can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public WC for people with disabilities on the banks of the Weser

  • The path from the tourist information office to the toilet is 400 m long, easy to walk and drive on and has a longitudinal gradient of max. 6% over 50 m. 
  • The WC door can be opened with a Euro key. The WC facility is closed seasonally from November 1 to March 31.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    150 cm x 150 cm in front of the washbasin and WC;
    to the left and right of the WC 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. Both grab rails can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • An alarm trigger is available.
