Rhein-Nahe Youth Hostel

The Bingen Youth Hostel has 121 beds in rooms for 1, 2 and 4 people and multi-bed occupancy. All rooms are equipped with shower/toilet.

The youth hostel belongs to the category IV+.

The modern Rhein-Nahe youth hostel Bingen atop the city with a magnificent view of the Rhine valley is close to the leisure area and recreation area "Park am Mäuseturm" with sports fields, skate park, water playground and much more. In the middle of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site, probably the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine Valley, lies the town of Bingen with  castle "Klopp" and the famous landmark, the "Mäuseturm".

The youth hostel has 5 lounges and event rooms of various sizes for 10 to 60 people, they can be combined for up to 100 people.

  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are raised are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception counter is 115 cm high.
  • There are five barrier-free rooms.
  • The WC in the room can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.  
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible when standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • There are tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail on the accessible side of the toilet.
