von Bora - Restaurant by martas

von Bora by martas - Restaurant in the Luther House in Wittenberg

At Katharina von Bora's table, students and scholars of the time once gathered to follow her husband's teachers. Thus the Luther House became a place of hospitality.

The old walls are now once again a place where people eat and drink. Kitchen director Christian Hirsch focuses on modern German cuisine with Mediterranean influences. He sets no limits to creativity in his variations. The cooking here is seasonal and therefore varied. Always keeping in mind the freshness and ingredients from the region and the respectful use of resources, he reinterprets well-known dishes.
