World Cultural Heritage Rammelsberg Museum & Visitor Mine
(Markus Gloger)
The mine, which was closed in 1988, is now a museum and visitor mine and has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The four museum houses, guided tours through the historic Roeder gallery or rides on the mine train offer visitors exciting insights into 1000 years of mining history.
