Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.  

  • There is a marked parking space for people with disabilities in the underground garage.
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible at ground level or via elevators. 
  • The elevator cabins are 109 cm x 208 cm.
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide or alternatives are available. Exception: in the wellness area and the rooms not designed to be barrier-free.
  • The reception desk is 110 cm high. There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
  • The Alto Restaurant & Bar has wheelchair-accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair-accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 215 (barrier-free designed double room)

  • According to the company, there are a further five identical rooms.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    to the left of the bed 75 cm x 150 cm; to the right of the bed 135 cm x 150 cm. However, the beds can be moved so that manoeuvring spaces of 150 cm width can be guaranteed on one side
  • The bed is 51 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the washbasin and in front of the WC  150 cm x 125 cm;
    to the left of the WC 88 cm x 51 cm; to the right of the WC 10 cm x 51 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The grab rails on the left can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible. 
  • The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
  • The threshold-free showers are 150 cm x 150 cm. Grab rails and a shower seat are provided in each case.
  • Alarm triggers are available.
  • In the kitchen area, the work surface and the sink are not  wheelchair compatible. 

Room 212

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 150 cm x 67 cm;
    to the left of the bed 72 cm x 150 cm; to the right of the bed 67 cm x 150 cm.
  • The bed is 51 cm high.
  • There is no sanitary room designed for people with disabilities.  

Public WC for people with disabilities (first floor)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    148 cm x 150 cm in front of the washbasin and toilet;
    to the left of the WC 93 cm x 69 cm; to the right of the WC 12 cm x 69 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The grab rails on the left can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen from a sitting or standing position.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  •  The swimming pool is only accessible via steps. Some doors are only 66 cm wide.

  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is not confirmed visually. Alternatively stairs are available.

  •  In the Alto Restaurant & Bar there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. 
  • Wi-Fi is available.

  • All elevated areas that can be used by guests are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically. The stop position is not announced by voice. The operating elements are not visually rich in contrast, but tactilely detectable.  
  • Stair treads are not visually rich in contrast. Stairs have a handrail on at least one side. 
  • The signage is designed in legible and high-contrast lettering. 
  • The edges of the pool are visually contrasting. 
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.
