Swimming Pool Winterberg
Immerse yourself and switch off: Relaxed, guests take lane after lane in the 28-degree water. Large panorama windows provide a view of the romantic Helle Valley. At the Winterberg swimming pool, swimmers experience sporty swimming, relaxation and water fun with a view of the countryside.
Young people and adults have plenty of room for exercise in the spacious 25-meter sports pool. Starting blocks and a one-meter board offer the best training conditions. The adjacent outdoor pool is heated and open all year round. In summer you can recharge your batteries on the sunbathing lawn and enjoy the view of the Winterberg mountains.
Children love the small play area and splash enthusiastically in the children's pool with slide and other fun elements. Meanwhile, parents can swim in the barrier-free exercise pool and watch the little ones. The barrier-free pool can be adapted to individual needs with variable water depths, so that even guests with disabilities can feel comfortable.
To finish off, a visit to the adjacent sauna area is recommended.

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

- There are four parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- The "Pforte" bus stop is 400 m away.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator. Exception: the diving tower and the slide
- All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
- The cash desk counter is 90 cm high at its lowest point.
- The manoeuvring spaces in the changing room for people with disabilities are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
- There is a sanitary room for people with disabilities.
- The toilet in this room can be accessed from at least one side (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
- The shower in the sanitary room for people with disabilities is steplessly accessible. There are grab rails in the shower.
- There are flat steps with handrails to access the indoor pools.
- Access to the outdoor pool is only possible via a ladder with a handrail.
