Modern, sporty, service-oriented - this is how the SportIJugendherberge Bad Tölz presents itself. You can expect a colourful mix of a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of sporting leisure opportunities and a community where guests of all ages feel at home. A disabled-friendly stay is also possible - two rooms are suitable for wheelchair users.  

The Sport|Jugendherberge Bad Tölz is a meeting place for athletes with and without handicaps. There are numerous opportunities for training sessions in the nearby surroundings. Talk to the team to clarify the exact possibilities. 

Enjoying the community without barriers:
For most it's a flight of stairs, for others it's an insurmountable barrier. This hostel caters for wheelchair users who can move their wheelchair themselves.

  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities.
  • The Eisstadion bus stop is 250 m away.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator.
  • There are no slopes with a gradient of more than 12.6%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 102 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication option available while seated.
  • Accessible rooms are available.
  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is visible while standing or sitting.
  • Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
  • The dining room has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There are two public toilets for people with disabilities, which are accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are foldable grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.

  • There is a visually clearly perceptible alarm in the rooms oo4 and oo5 as well as in the public toilets
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • In the dining room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. seating corner, separate room).

  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
  • WiFi is offered.
