Wine and Local History Museum Zell (Mosel)

Wine and Local History Museum Zell (Mosel) (Zeller Land Tourismus GmbH)

The wine and local history museum in Zell (Mosel) conveys a piece of the living past from the lives of our ancestors. It documents that the town area was inhabited as early as 3000-2000 BC. Stone axes and grinding stones are the oldest traces of a settlement in Zell. Pottery finds and gold coins from the Celtic period bear witness to a development that was replaced or overlaid by the Romans.
