Youth Hostel Dessau
The modern Bauhaus-style youth hostel is located next to the Masters' Houses - on the edge of the forest and yet close to the town centre. Relax on the large grounds with sun terrace or in the hostel's own cafeteria. All rooms - four of them wheelchair accessible - are equipped with shower/WC. A separate building can be booked for groups up to 30 persons.

- There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
- All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator. The play and recreation areas are accessible only via steps.
- There are no slopes steeper than 6%.
- All doors and passageways accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 84 cm high. An alternative, equivalent means of communication while seated is available.
- There are four rooms designed to be accessible.
- The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). A fold-down grab bar is available on the accessible side of the toilet.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
- Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
- The dining room features tables that are no more than 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There is a public restroom for people with disabilities that is accessible from both sides (at least 80 cm). Fold-down grab bars are provided on the left and right sides of the toilet.

- In the dining room and in the café there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.

- There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
- W-LAN is offered.
