The Bestehornhaus, built in 1908, is located in the centre of the town and is the cultural and conference centre of the town of Aschersleben. Events of all kinds take place here; from concerts to readings to seminars. 

The tourist information office is located in the front part of the building (street side), the WCs, the lift and the event rooms with box office and cloakroom are located in the rear part (courtyard side).

  • The Bestehornhaus is the cultural and conference center of the city of Aschersleben. The tourist information office is located in the front part of the building (street side), while the toilets, elevator and event rooms with box office and checkroom are located in the rear part (courtyard side).
  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities. Advance reservation is requested.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via an elevator. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The counter in the tourist information office is 121 cm high. There is an alternative option for communication while seated.
  • The cash desk and checkroom in the Bestehornhaus are 82 cm high.
  • Seating is available.
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities that can be accessed from at least one side (at least 80 cm). There is a folding grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is necessary. 
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.
