Touristinformation Langeoog im Haus der Insel (Joke Pouliart)

The Tourist Information Langeoog is located in the house of the island, right next to the spa and wellness center and the seawater adventure pool. Here you can pay the guest fee, book events and excursions and get information about the island and leisure activities.

There is also a miniature version of Langeoog made of LEGO bricks on display in the tourist information.

  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible without steps/at ground level or via ramps. 
  • Ramps have a maximum longitudinal gradient of 10%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The counter/cash desk is 93 cm high. There is no other equivalent means of communication while seated. 
  • There is a public WC for people with disabilities that can be accessed from one side (at least 90 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.   
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is necessary. 
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in easy-to-read, high-contrast lettering.
  • Almost all areas are brightly lit and glare-free.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast. Stairs have a handrail on at least one side.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing. 
  • A tactile island map is available
