Reopening of the Burg Tourist Information on 7 August 2024

Relocation from the station building to the neighbouring Goethepark, Kirchhofstr. 11 (address for navigation, car park: Bahnhofstr. 10, access to the new TI via the station forecourt towards the Goethepark entrance)

Spend an eventful stay in Burg. We offer our guests multi-faceted city tours and take you on a historical journey through the city. For groups with individual appointments: All guided tours are available in German, English and French. We will be happy to advise you.

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level. The door threshold at the entrance is 4.5 cm high.
  • All doors/passages and paths that can be used and raised by guests are at least 70 cm wide.
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The counter/cash desk is no more than 114 cm high. There is an alternative way of communicating while seated.
  • There is a public WC for people with disabilities that can be accessed from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right.   
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is necessary.
