Rolli hiking trail to Lake Seeburg

The 26 km long circular route first leads through the city of Duderstadt, then in large parts through the Feldmark. Halfway the way to the local recreation area Seeburger See with inn, accessible  toilet and boat rental (paraboats on offer). The second part of the route leads again through fields, but also past small villages. The last three kilometres lead again through the city area and the pedestrian zone of Duderstadt before you arrive again at the starting point "Rathaus Duderstadt".

Some Information on accessibility are listed below. 

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities at Duderstadt town hall and two parking spaces at the “Graf Isang” restaurant.
  • The wheelchair trail is specially marked for people with walking disabilities, hand bikers, skaters and horse riders.
  • The circular route has a total length of 26 km.
  • It is signposted throughout.
  • There are gradients of inclines: Sections 4 and 5 have gradients of 8% over a length of at least 150 cm.
  • The circular route is largely step-free (exception in section 3: 1 step of 8 cm each)
  • The path is 200 cm wide (exception in section 5: 100 cm path width over a length of 2 m).
  • The wheelchair-accessible path runs partly (sections 3 - 6) along a road used by motor vehicles. The road is not very busy.
  • In section 4 there are bollards at a distance of 90 cm.
  • Surface: asphalt, concrete block paving, forest path. Overall, the path is easy to walk and drive on.
  • Seating is available at irregular intervals along the circular route. 
  • There is a public toilet for people with disabilities near Duderstadt town hall and in the “Graf Isang” restaurant, which can be accessed from at least one side (at least 90 cm). There is a flip-up grab rail at least on the accessible side of the toilet.
