Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are three marked parking spaces for people with disabilities on the street. 
  • By arrangement, guests with disabilities can also park at the side entrance. There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities there.
  • The station Leutesdorf is 700 m away.
  • The paths to the entrances are moderately to walk and drive on (grass pavers).
  • The building is accessible without steps via the main entrance and the side entrance.
  • The platform of the lift to the main entrance is 100 cm x 120 cm. At the time of data collection, it was defective.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible without steps via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 83 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 65 cm high at its lowest point.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the dining room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 100 (shared room)

  • The bed is 54 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 150 cm x 150 cm; in front of the WC 200 cm x 135 cm;
    to the left of the WC 30 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 140 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC. The right grab rail can be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • The sleeperless walk-in shower is 125 cm x 200 cm. Grab rails and a shower seat are provided.

Room 101 (shared room)

  • The bed is 52 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • In the dining room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

Rooms 100, 101 and 106 (multi-bed rooms)

  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
  • W-LAN is offered.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • The entrances are neither visually rich in contrast nor recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • There are glass doors without safety markings.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. The break position is announced by spoken commands. The operating controls are not visually rich in contrast, but tactilely detectable. Alternatively stairs are available.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast. Stairs have handrails on both sides.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font (exceptions: elevator, stair handrail).
