The Stadtgalerie Mennonitenkirche in Neuwied combines a historic atmosphere with a varied programme of exhibitions.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The building is accessible without steps via a 10 m long ramp with an 8 % incline.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via an elevator. The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The cash desk is 100 cm high.
  • The exhibits are predominately visible while sitting. Information on the exhibits is predominately legible while sitting.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities that is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are fold-down grab bars on the left and right sides of the restroom.  
  • Guided tours are offered for people with mobility impairments and wheelchair users. Advance registration is required. 
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with mobility impairments to use during the guided tour.
